Learning about airplanes

As we start our studies of the 20th century, we are reading about Wilbur and Orville Wright.  And so we spent the afternoon making paper airplanes.  There were also sections to read about why planes fly and why some shapes fly better than others...but we'll get to those later.  We had too much fun making and flying our airplanes!
